GCRPC’s Program Offerings
State Planning Region XVII
Coordinates regional services for the seven-county Golden Crescent, providing data, facilitation, and technical assistance that help local governments plan, collaborate, and deliver better public services.
Regional Planning Commission
Brings cities, counties, and special districts together to create and implement long-range regional plans for transportation, land use, hazard mitigation, and essential community services.
Economic Development District
Partners with communities to grow jobs and investment through the Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), business retention, project development, and grant support with federal and state agencies.
911 Authority or Service District
Manages regional 9-1-1 addressing, mapping, and call-routing support for public safety answering points, strengthening reliability and response times across the Golden Crescent.
Urban Transit District
Operates ADA-accessible fixed-route and paratransit service in the Victoria urbanized area, connecting residents to jobs, schools, healthcare, and daily needs.
Rural Transit District
Provides safe, affordable demand-response transportation across rural counties for medical appointments, work, education, shopping, and community services.
Aging and Disability Resource Center
Your “No Wrong Door” to long-term services and supports—information, options counseling, benefits assistance, and caregiver resources for older adults and people with disabilities.
Environmental Services
Leads solid-waste planning and recycling initiatives, hosts household hazardous waste events, and secures regional grants to keep communities clean, healthy, and resilient.
