The Regional Services Department is responsible for a wide-range of activities designed to improve the quality of life at the community level.
Victoria Transit (Urban)
Fixed Route Service
VICTORIA TRANSIT provides a fixed route system Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for all residents regardless of age living in the city of Victoria. Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available to assist in transporting persons with disabilities.
Mon-Fri Service 3 Routes & 160 Stops
Victoria Transit’s Fixed Route service consists of three (3) routes which operate North and South bound with over 160 scheduled bus stops. These routes serve key areas to various destinations within the city limits of Victoria. The routes run approximately every half hour (30 minutes) beginning at 8:00 am and ending at 5:00 pm with a shutdown from 12:00 pm to 01:00 pm for lunch
Highlight of our Paratransit Services
- VICTORIA TRANSIT provides Para Transit Services Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm for qualified individuals with mobility impairments who are unable to use Fixed Route Service.
- Our Para Transit Service is a demand-responsive, advance reservation, shared-ride, address-to-address, curb-to-curb service.
- Wheelchair accessible vehicles are available to assist in transporting persons with disabilities.
ADA Paratransit Eligibility Certification Form
An ADA Para Transit Eligibility Certification Form will be used to determine your eligibility for Victoria Transit’s Para Transit Service. The information is confidential and only shared with agencies involved with Victoria Transits eligibility determination process, and will not be provided to any other person or agency except as provided by the Texas Opens Records Act.
The application processing time is approximately 21 days. You will be sent a letter by mail informing you of your status, whether you are approved or denied. Re-certification for Para Transit Services is conducted on an annual basis

Se utilizará un Formulario de Certificación de Elegibilidad de Paratránsito ADA para determinar su elegibilidad para el Servicio de Paratránsito de Victoria Transit. La información es confidencial y solo se compartirá con las agencias involucradas en el proceso de determinación de elegibilidad de Victoria Transit, y no se proporcionará a ninguna otra persona o agencia, excepto según lo dispuesto por la Ley de Registros Abiertos de Texas.
El tiempo de procesamiento de la solicitud es aproximadamente de 21 días. Se le enviará una carta por correo informándole sobre su estado, ya sea que haya sido aprobado o denegado. La recertificación para los Servicios de Paratránsito se lleva a cabo anualmente.

The information obtained is used to determine your eligibility for Golden Crescent Regional Planning Commission Transportation Service Department ADA paratransit service.
This information is confidential and will not be provided to any other person or agency, except as required by the Texas Public Information Act. It will only be shared with persons involved with GCRPC paratransit services eligibility determination process and other transit providers to facilitate travel in those areas.

Solo se compartirá con las personas involucradas en el proceso de determinación de elegibilidad para los servicios de paratránsito de GCRPC y con otros proveedores de transporte para facilitar los viajes en esas zonas.
